Cute Baby Walrus are Gorgeous
These walrus calves are the strangest-looking, yet most likeable sea creatures around. That’s not taking sides. We know that penguins and dolphins are lovable little critters, too. If the scrubbing-brush like top lip doesn’t get your teenage son jealous, then the man-size eyebrows definitely will. All in all, they’re somehow looking older than their cute face has any right to.
When they get their speedboat licence, the cops had best be on the prowl for some walrus-style grand theft auto! No panic, their cuteness will get them out of a pickle. Thankfully, though, they should only be whizzing around the zoos and scoffing all the fish heads. We’ve heard it’s a walrus delicacy.
We’ve Got a Selection of Sizzling Sea Creatures
Our poor little walrus calves have been saved from serious situations and savage seas. Ahoy there, me lad. Somalian pirates in the area. Only kidding. Sometimes they are saved by fisherman in places as far afield as Alaska. That is where Mitik was rescued from. We’re not quite sure exactly what happened, but he’s now safe in a zoo. It’s not quite like the freedom he’s used to out on the open seas, but at least he is safe from polar bears and other nasty predators that want to eat him for tea.
Dyna is a German Walrus Mother with a Calf
The other walrus mummy in our pics is Dyna. She lives in a German zoo. Dyna is 14-years-old and lives in Hagenbeck Zoo, Germany. Her calf was born on June 17th, 2018, so he’s still a nipper, but he’s growing fast. Walrus can grow to a heck of a size when fully adult. Put it this way, you’d need a crane to lift one in the boot of your car to go for walks or a swim in the arctic. Brrrr. Would be bloody cold, too!

Who Knew Walrus Could be so Gorgeous!
In all honesty, we don’t think many people would think of the crusty old walrus when cuteness comes to mind. However, when you see any animal in the right situation, they all have a certain beauty about them. When you browse the Internet there are endless unique creatures that have captured the imagination of animal lovers the world over. Some are best left in the wild where they belong, because they’re often live specialist lifestyles that can’t easily be replicated in captivity.
People often keep wild animals, after buying them as cutesy little baby’s, not realising they grow up into man-eating monsters. Wild animals that prey on other animals for food aren’t going to be the best house pets. Yet unbelievably people take these creatures in then don’t know what to do with them.
An American Man Lived With a Hyena
Did you hear about the guy in America who kept a hyena in his flat? Wowzers. That’s crazy. The hyena ended up biting him one day so he had to donate it to a charity. Thankfully he didn’t have to get it destroyed, which would have been a shame for the animal. He really did love the animal, as he’d grown up himself fascinated by the animals.
You’d think that common sense would have taken over at some point, but no. Such is the crazy world that we live in today, it is no wonder out of almost 8 billion people that these mad things happen. It’s the poor animals that usually suffer due to human stupidity.
Bear that in mind when your partner wants to bring a walrus home. Explain that a goldfish is a much safer option!
